SENEGAL, 2004

In 2004, our family travelled to Senegal.

At the time, these images were simply moments being recorded: family together, places we visited, everyday life and memories being created without knowing what they might represent years later.

More than twenty years have passed.

People have grown, new generations have arrived, and the meaning of these images has changed with time.

Today, this footage becomes the first chapter of AFFY.

Not because our family story begins here, but because it represents exactly what AFFY wants to preserve: moments that may seem ordinary when we live them, but become part of our history as time passes.

What was once a family recording can now be inherited as memory.
