BK 15 — Unity

Phase 2 — Culture & Practice

Unity does not mean that everyone must think, move, or create in the same way. It means recognizing that individual growth becomes stronger when people support one another and work toward something shared.

Crews can provide encouragement, knowledge, honest feedback, and a sense of belonging. They help dancers face challenges together while creating an environment where each member can develop a distinct identity.

True unity is not blind loyalty. Healthy groups make room for disagreement, accountability, and personal growth. A strong crew does not silence individuality—it gives each person a foundation from which to develop.

Reflection: Does your crew help every member grow—or only protect its own image?
